TLC Consignment Sale WILL NOT accept any item that has been placed on the recall list. Please check the US Consumer Product Safety Commission website at www.cpsc.gov and make sure your entered toys and items are not recalled. TLC Consignment Sale is not responsible for recalled toys and items that are bought or sold through our consignment sale. It is the responsibility of the seller and buyer to check items for age appropriateness and safety.
Hang all garments on appropriate size hangers with the hook facing to the left as you look at the garment. Please use child size hangers for all smaller sizes. Adult hangers can be used for maternity clothes and any of the larger size clothing. Wire or plastic hangers are acceptable. Tags are to be placed on the right side of garment as you look at it. Please place the safety pin above the words "myconsignmentmanager.com" so that we can cut the tag off and still leave the top portion of the tag on the item.
Be sure to button all buttons, snap all snaps, tie all bows, zip all zippers. Try to use regular size safety pins to attach items to the hanger...tiny gold safety pins don't seem to work as well. Safety pin any matching accessories directly to the outfit. Pants/skirts/two-piece outfits, should be attached with safety pins behind the hung shirt at the shoulders.
****Again, to reduce swapping of tags by potential buyers, you may use a tagging gun to adhere your tags to your clothing garments.****
Again, please make sure that all toys/games are clean. Put small pieces, directions, and puzzle pieces in a clear, sealed bag. Tape the bag to the toy with clear, packing tape. The idea is to make your items as secure and viewable as possible. Please wrap all puzzles in saran wrap so that all the pieces stay together.
Shoes should be securely put together. You can either tie laces together and use a LARGE safety pin/ribbon/yarn through the shoelace eyes or use zip ties to make sure they are securely together. Please DO NOT put them in Ziploc bags as the potential buyers cannot see what condition the shoes are in. Again please limit 10 shoes per seller.
All small items such as socks, hair bows, or anything that you are having trouble attaching a tag to can be put in Ziploc bags. Attach tags to the outside of the bag with clear packing tape.
All large items that require assembly will need to be done prior to drop off at the sale. We will not have additional staff or room for items to be assembled.
Any unsold items that you indicate you want to be donated or any items not picked up during the pick up times will be donated to a local charity.
