Volunteers
TLC Consignment sale couldn't exist without the help of its volunteers. Volunteers help the sale run smoothly and the shopping experience a pleasant one. We need people before, during and after the event. Typical areas of help needed will be drop off/check-in and sorting items, customer check out, resorting after the sale, floor supervisors and there is even an opportunity for men to help with security.
Presale dates and times are listed under Event Dates. Volunteers are qualified for the presale by:
- signing up for a 3-hour shift and selling 25 items or more OR
- signing up for 2x 3-hour shifts ($7 seller fee waived) OR
- your husband, male relative/friend working your shift for you as security
Payouts will be as follows:
- 70% - selling 25 or more items
- 75% - selling 25 or more items and working one 3-hour shift
- 80% - selling 25 or more items and working two or more 3-hour shifts ($7 seller fee waived)
Volunteers are asked to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to their shift starting so that we don,t have any lapses in coverage.
